PDFThe 2023 Saggi opens with the wine’s unmistakable aromatics of red currant and wild strawberry, seamlessly intertwined with layers of black fruit. A vibrant, beautifully textured mid-palate adds ample richness while preserving the wine’s lively character. Bright fruit carries through to the finish, with a mouthwatering texture that leaves a lasting impression.
Vineyards
Saggi is built from a collection of premier Washington vineyards selected to shape the wine’s signature vibrancy and depth. Sangiovese from Candy Mountain and Ciel du Cheval on Red Mountain brings ripe, expressive fruit, while the Walla Walla Valley’s Blue Mountain Vineyard Sangiovese adds dark fruit character. Cabernet Sauvignon from Stone Tree contributes to Saggi’s beautiful mid-palate texture and structure. Boushey Vineyard Syrah heightens the blend’s freshness and lift.
