Owen Bargreen

The outstanding 2021 Dance Chardonnay is mostly sourced from the Gamache, Boushey and French Creek Vineyards. Stored in cement eggs as well as neutral and new French oak barrels, this is a stunning new wine that did not undergo full malolactic fermentation. Right away toasty oak and melon tones fill the nose alongside lemon zest and shades of creme brûlée. The palate is silky smooth and refined with incredible elegance and richness. Finishing extremely long, with good freshness, this is delicious Chardonnay to savor now and over the next ten years to come.

Vinous

Sweet spices, vanilla custard and freshly-sliced peach introduce the 2021 Dance Chardonnay. This blends richness with verve, showing depths of ripe orchard fruits and sweet mint on the palate that create a display of pure pleasure. Hints of raw almond and baked apple linger as the 2021 finishes long, clean and refreshing. This walks the line of opulence yet lands on the side of balance. Nicely done.

The wine's aromas of peach and beeswax smell like the best candle ever. The round and smooth texture guides flavors like grilled lemons and lychee, with just a touch of honey.

A creamy Chardonnay with inviting aromas of lemon pie, peach, vanilla cream, apricot and honeysuckle. It's full-bodied, peachy and textured, with refreshing acidity to balance.
