This fall, we welcome celebrated Walla Walla artist Todd Telander to Long Shadows as our Artist in Residence.

Join us at our Walla Walla winery on Saturday, September 19th, and Saturday, October 3rd, from 2–4 PM, as Todd paints en plein air on the patio, capturing the surrounding landscape in oils. Guests are invited to watch his work take shape while enjoying Long Shadows wines and sweeping views of the Blue Mountains.

“It’s so inspiring to paint at Long Shadows,” says Telander. “I feel like I could be in Tuscany, but it’s just 15 minutes from my studio.”

These afternoon painting sessions lead up to Among the Artists: A Harvest Dinner on Saturday, October 10th. Todd will join us for an intimate evening in the Chihuly Room, where his work will be exhibited alongside our renowned Dale Chihuly glass collection.

The evening brings together wine, culinary and visual artistry with a harvest-inspired dinner by Chef Rock Silva of East Alder Table, limited-production wines presented by Founding Winemaker Gilles Nicault, and live music from special guest musicians of the Walla Walla Symphony.
