3. Incredible Variety of Wines from the World’s Top Winemakers
If you are considering a Long Shadows wine club membership, you probably already know what makes us so special. But, just in case you need a quick recap, our wines are made by some of the world’s most legendary winemakers.
Each label is built under the expert craftsmanship of our head winemaker, Gilles Nicault. However, we have invited collaboration on many of our finest bottles from world renowned winemakers eager to leave their mark on the best of Washington State’s fruit.
For example, Pomerol’s Michel Rolland, one of the world’s top winemakers and a master of Merlot, helped guide the Long Shadow’s Pedestal wine project.
Or Sequel, our expressive Syrah, is crafted in partnership with winemaker John Duval, who’s had a near three-decade career with Australia’s prestigious Penfold’s Grange.
Love Bordeaux? You’ll be thrilled to know that winemaking legend Philippe Melka is the consulting winemaker behind Pirouette, our Bordeaux inspired blend.
