Recipe: Cymbal Sauvignon Blanc + Crispy Truffle Goat Cheese & Hot Honey

Try this easy and delicious holiday appetizer the next time you need to impress, but are short on time. The earthiness of the truffles and the tanginess of the goat cheese is a perfect match for our Cymbal Sauvignon Blanc.

Ingredients

  • 1 log truffle goat cheese, cold
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Hot chili honey
  • 1 Tablespoon of fresh rosemary, chopped

Directions

  • Pre-heat over to 400 degrees
  • Put flour, eggs, and panko in three separate bowls
  • Whisk eggs to create an egg wash
  • Take goat cheese straight from the refrigerator
  • Cover cheese in flour, then egg wash, then panko crumbs, covering it completely.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes
  • Switch to broil, and broil for 2 minutes or under golden brown
  • Sprinkle with chopped rosemary
  • Drizzle with hot chili honey
  • Serve with your favorite crackers and Cymbal Sauvignon Blanc!
