Aromas and flavors of musky ripe peach, ginger, nutmeg and earth; reminded me of a Nahe riesling. Juicy, intensely flavored and just off-dry, offering a satisfying supple texture and very good length.

Showing some oxidative nutty notes under the elegant TDN petrol-like notes, the 2006 Poet's Leap has hints of white peach and lime candy. With notes of chamomile and lemon, it is subtly still going. The wine's structure has 12% alcohol and is very fresh with 18 g/L of residual sugar and a pH of about 3.15. It features hints of chalk and lemon verbena. Very nicely done!
