Arnie Prentice

Arnie Prentice is Chair of Kibble & Prentice, a USI company in Seattle, WA. Arnie co-founded Kibble & Prentice, a regional financial services firm, in 1972. Today, he is responsible for the overall performance and strategic directon of the company, and fostering long term relationships with the company's clients and partners.

Arnie is also involved in the development of emerging businesses, acquisitions and mergers. He serves on the board of directors of Northland Telecommunications Corporation, Pacific Marketing International, Long Shadows Vintners, and he is currently an advisory board member for Opanga Corporation, iFoods and Prevencio. He is retired from the Flow International board of directors. He served nineteen years on the Starbucks Coffee Company board of directors and as the non-executive chairman of Percon Inc. for eight years. Arnie is also a principal of Prentice Family Parnters, a Seattle-based private equity firm which invests primarily in early stage Pacific Northwest companies including the Northwest Drug Emporium franchise (sold to Longs Drugs), Optiva Corporation - maker of the Sonicare toothbrush (sold to Phillips), Wizards of the Coast (sold to Hasbro), Advanced H2O (sold to LaSalle Parnters) and Spider Staging (sold to Flow International).

Arnie is a member of many professional and civic associations at the international, national and local levels, including the Million Dollar Round Table where he served as International President from 1987-88, the National Association of Corporate Directors (Seattle-Northwest Chapter) where he served as chair and was one of the founders, the Board of Trustees for the Seattle World Trade Center, the University of Washington Foster School of Business Advisory Board, the Community Leaders Council of the Institute for Prostate Cancer Research, and the Methow Conservancy.
